“The great power of electronic dance music is still sending out messages without any words”. DJ Hell began his career in 1978, quickly establishing himself as a pioneer in Germany’s nightlife and was already performing at MAYDAY in 1997. His early residencies at Club Libella and other Munich venues allowed him to cultivate a unique and eclectic mixing style, blending genres such as new wave, ska and disco. By the late 1980s, he was instrumental in the rise of house music in Germany, organizing the first acid house party. A new album from Meese x Hell will soon be released on “Buback Records” from Hamburg. It will be the second album with Jonathan Meese.
